Here's the stuff for your intro:

- Title: (A story with no title is the most unprofessional and off-putting thing a reader could ever come across, so have a title and use it. Also, add the title – if it’s a chapter story, add the chapter number beside it – to the entry’s subject box.)

- Author: (This is for the name of your journal only, anything else will not be accepted. Use the user code: <*lj user="yourusernamegoeshere"*>. Copy it, paste it, add your user name to replace the example and remove the asterisk – it isn’t hard.)

- Pairing: (People want to know whom the focal characters in a story are before they read, so no excuses, put the pairing here. This means the characters names, not the made-up, merged version of the two names, etc, because they make you sound stupid, for one, and they’re simply daft and pointless, not to mention annoying.)

- Rating: (Each story should be given a rating for the contents it contains, and soon there will be a rating table especially for this community, but until then, go with what you think best fits your story.)

- POV: (This means the point of view in which your story is told from. If it’s told from the POV of one of your characters, put their name, if it’s a general POV, put that, if it’s written in third person, put that, etc. Some writers change the POV of their story from chapter to chapter, so as not to confuse the reader, state who is telling the story.)

- Summary: (A brief description of your story will do, even a line from somewhere in your story, just a small piece to let the reader know the gist of your story, but we do not want a long essay. If the summary is longer than the story itself, we may as well not bother reading it.)

- Disclaimer: (A simple claim stating that your story is fictional will do, because we don’t want anyone getting sued.)

- Author Notes:</b></u> (If there’s anything vital you wish to address your readers with before they read, then this is the place to put it – not half-way through your story, not a huge essay at the end, but here. Note: Keep this section to a minimum.)

Use this form for your fiction:

Just copy and paste this to the top of your fic if you're unsure, and change all the capitalised sections to your own.

LJ cut:

<*lj-cut text="What you want the cut to say here."*>

Your story goes here.

<*/lj-cut*>

You can copy and paste this, then change it to what you need it to say, etc. Don't forget to remove the asterisk, it won't work unless you do.

If you want to post a story in your personal/writing journal and link it to the community so that everyone reads and comments from the same place, then you will need to use the following link code rather than the LJ cut:

<*a href="Thelinkgoeshere"*>What you want the link to say here.<*/a*>

Again, don't forget to remove the asterisk or it won't work.
